Udyam Disha is a Mentor platform created by NIESBUD to facilitate one-stop solution to the aspiring / existing entrepreneurs with a wide coverage of information and support eco system, required for setting up or scale-up of an enterprise. The idea is to provide a virtual network that not only connects aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with experts from across the country but also renders multifaceted services through mentoring and handholding support to entrepreneurs, which may give impetus to entrepreneurship development in India.

To act as a bridge between people who want to start or scale up their business and mentors/ sector experts, which will build a network across the country that would support first generation entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs who intend to take up entrepreneurship as a career and scale up their business, respectively. .

The objective is to provide a platform to the potential and existing entrepreneurs to connect with Mentors, buyers and sellers, donors and investors, etc. to start and scale up their business. Udyam Disha also provides a plethora of information on entrepreneurship and allied government schemes, financial institutions, business development services, etc. and act as an enabler for aspiring/ existing entrepreneurs.

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development is a premier organization of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, engaged in training, consultancy, research, etc. in order to promote entrepreneurship and Skill Development. The major activities of the Institute include Training of Trainers, Management Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Programmes.
